Last night I get a call from my good friend Dana White (pres of the UFC if you didn’t know) he invited me down to the Viper Room for a VERY exclusive little get together for which he hired Joan Jett to play. Needless to say I headed down there with the homie Fredwreck to check it out ….

While you were out hobnobbing with the beautiful people, I was doing something even more exciting. In the last 24 hours I’ve stolen scores of cars, ran from the police, bought illegal weapons, blew up a gas station, met people on the Internet, played pool, darts, and bowled, took on “odd jobs”, and killed a few flying rats. Yup, GTA4 is out and I won’ be seeing daylight for a while!
Instead, I’ll live vicariously through your blog, so have a lot of fun on the road, motivate a lot of people, sing some beautiful songs, but just in case you get bored, you might want to take along a PS3 and GTA4!

Looks like a grand time, as always. Although I must admit I’m a little bit surprised @ Mandy Moore hanging with ya all, but it looks as though a good time was had by all! It never ceases to amaze me all of the “exclusive” lists that our host ends up on- just shows that you must keep it as real with everyone as you do us; awesome…Hope things go well with Mr. Penn in NOLA, as I’m sure they will. Awesome undertaking he’s started there, and kudos to you for lending a hand

Completely off topic, but Where’s Ian? Drop in and let us know how your “unconscious gravity towards playing bad chess in this personal out of poverty game” is coming mate! Hope all’s going well and that you were able to get some rest before (or after) the Grand Opening…Been fighting the same personal struggle my whole life friend, and suppose at this point it’s unlikely to change dramatically anytime soon…the length between the ‘haves’ and the ‘havenots’ continually widens in the world we live in today. Here’s to hoping you succeed beyond all expectations!

A Russian newspaper that printed rumours about President Vladimir Putin’s alleged affair with a beautiful young gymnast has been suspended from publication.
Last week the Moscow tabloid Moskovsky Korrespondent, which is owned by Russian billionaire-politician Alexander Lebedev, ran a story claiming the 55-year old Putin had secretly divorced his wife and was planning to marry Alina Kabayeva, 25, a Duma deputy and former Olympic gold medal winner.
Putin, who had been travelling abroad for much of last week, finally scotched the story on Friday. “What you are saying has not a single word of truth,” he told journalists. The Russian president, who has been married for 25 years and has two grown daughters, then joked about the subject with reporters.
But the outcome wasn’t amusing for Moskovsky Korrespondent which ran an abject apology in its Friday edition before shutting down publication indefinitely for what editors called “financial reasons”.
