News Update …
Sorry I’ve been lagging with the posts lately. I had to get this sickness out of me …. The Roxy show was a lot of fun all the homies came out to support Danny Boy, Lethal , Muggs , B real , Tim Biskup , Block and on and on It was good to see the fam and friends . I also just saw the first cut of the “Stone in my Hand” video and I’m feeling it … I think it will piss some people off but thats half the point kinda right? Mazik aka “Self Aviary” directed it as he has done the Letters and Folsom videos … he’s seriously about to make some noise in the film/video world …. We should have it ready for you all to see early next week … keep your eyes peeled …. 1. Ev

Ev, I was at the show in Towson, Baltimore. Drove up from Philly to see you again. Is there any truth to the rumor they are going to be using footage from that show in the vid “Stone in my hand” ? I hope so, for such a small venue it was really bumpin that night. Once again you put on a hell of a show.Later!

There’s really only one way to do this video, and that would be taking sides. I imagine it would piss some people off. Oh well. I was explaining the song (my fav) to my 11-year-old, which of course brought up the whole Palestine/Israel thing. It was a tough topic, but a good conversation. I think if your music didn’t evoke discussion, even controversy, it wouldn’t be as good. Keep it up. And speaking of Stone in My Hand, is that a little bit of a Reggae bubble/skank I’m hearing there?
One more thing: Now that you’re home and rested a minute. I think after your Europe tour you should do a casino circuit. You could hit rez casinos all up and down the west coast. I’m saying this purely for your benefit. See how selfless I can be? Never mind that there are at least 3 casinos within driving distance from my house. As much as you like to hit the tables, it’d be the perfect tour.

That sounds great! I’ve been diggin Stone since I first heard it, always thought a video would be tight.
I was listening to that interview, where you were talking about the song, how you got the idea from looking at pictures of small kids and whatnot throwing rocks and shit at tanks. I think of that every time I hear the song. Hope it’s good! =D

Well, my god, Ev- if it *didn’t* piss people off, you didn’t do it right! I mean, c’mon- you don’t have a song that says stuff like that, asking people stand up and fight when half of America is laying down- and not expect to piss some people off. You’re good at making people mad, Ev. And I’m proud that you’re still doing it. Because when people get mad… they think about WHY they’re mad. And that’s what counts, right?

EV, I’m so glad your doin’ videos for this album and bein ontop of your game with everything, White Trash Beautiful had at least 4-5 classic tracks that I would have loved to see videos for. Now that you have Saving Grace, Letters Home, Folsom Prison & Stone In my hand all classic tracks on this new album I think it’d be great to have 1 more video like kill the emporer or something on a collector’s edition DVD/CD of this album with unreleased tracks or somethin. The true Die Hard Fans love that chit, keep at it, much respect.

EV, since we talking videos: Why Didn’t you shoot a video for Today from Whitey ford sings the blues? I know you released it as a single so im just real curious. It would have been a good choice for a vid.
