I check this blog a couple times daily…This is why. Midnight and I’m blessed with the video for Stone In My Hand. This song and video is amazing. Powerful. Much respect. - Joe’s Pub
How do we get this video seen by the masses. Erics album is incredible and deeper than anything Ive heard in ages. Let me know and lets pull together to get this album heard by a lot of people.

When’s it going to be added to Myspace Videos? I want to put it on my page. I’ve got Letters Home there now (the other video that touched my heart), but it’s time to bring this song out. I want everyone to see it.
I would like to air your videos in swedish TV. that would not be a problem. Our rules are a lttle diffferent abot what you can air or not. I think i could arrange that. What do you think?
Superb video E…very power track and video. I listen to this track every morning on the way to work in the car. When I’m stuck in traffic, I thing about how lucky some of us are. It gets me fired up at the sametime. Truely awesome work.
Thanks for sharing it so quickly with us. Excellent choice!
When you are sitting at the bar…. haha… the deep view… like in the End of days videoclip. So cool!
Again…. all i can say…
bow down to the king!
Thank you Ev for the cool music and stuff you are doing! I hope people will get the message of your work!
Love it. The footage from The Baltimore show is in there. Visually it is a really cool video, cuttin` back from live shows to you walking down the street to the war footage. It really compliments the song well. By the way, I love you sittin` at the bar with the Jameson! Fuckin` classic! I`m gonna go watch it again. Later!
Powerful video, really powerful.
Like the metaphors and the dark, gloomy atmosphere. Fits to the song and to your voice, too. Hope a lot of people will get to see it.
I read this interview in the german “Guitar”-magazine last week. Been waiting on that for three years and was not at all disappointed. People came to read about the way you create songs, the way you work with the guitar and the way you see your own music. The whole thing only made me respect you even more.
Looking forward to the show in Cologne on dec. 13th. My poor grandma wont see me too long on her birthday I guess…
Yo props to the ones who shot, edited and found the file footage for the video, AMAZING! i liked the song to begin with and this just sealed the deal!! only complaint….make a new stone in my hand t shirt….keep up the good work and have fun on the rest of your tour!!!
This video that comes before the throw a stone track on the album would not have been the usual or would have been the real holy war if it showed the out of all things that aren’t nothing only the living become nothing writing on the wall.
I’ll be waiting with the phone in my hand to receive a call. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VON3F1kz0lk
Wow, I did expect the video, but not that soon. As always, you don’t disapoint your fans. That what I miss from modern artist. Respect for the video, Ev!
Hello EV, great video, great song and exellent album.
You never disappoint that’s why I’m after all this years still a big fan!!
I will see you in December in Brussels, thanks for coming to Belgium!
You never fail to impress us man. This is another fantastic video. You’re a great man, Ev. I have nothing but respect for you. Keep making that beautiful music and these kick ass videos.
Whoa I’m a bit late, everyone else of the daily writers of this blog have seen the video. Best of the new videos! Fast release, we didn’t have to wait, thanks!
When I first heard that track a few months back I thought it would make a perfect single. In fact, this video is damn near as the same concept I talked about with my wife after we heard the track. I guess the song paints this picture for a video.
Where is the New Years show this year? My wife is pissed she didn’t get to see you in Minneapolis.
Truly another Masterpiece. You were very animated in the vid. I liked it. Very powerful song it gets me going everytime i hear it (and thats a lot!). Keep the shit coming ev. Much Love
I’ve been M.I.A. for a few weeks. Great video Ev. Every bit of passion and anger in the song translates 100% to the video. I agree with the others that you shoud continue to use the director for your future video’s.
Is there anyway we can talk you into doing a live DVD?
Great vid and love the song! I agree with markie. when are you coming to Toronto. Hurry up and get up and enjoy the cold weather and put a show on for us!
I knew that was Jamesons. Thats my scrappin juice, Ev. Much love and respect from KCMO KCK all over these parts. Need to find time for a show round here. Anyway, vids dope, songs the shit, keep fightin Ev. Government is no solution when government is the problem.
Was the live footage shot at the Towson, MD show? I saw a lot of filming going on and was thinking it was for a live DVD. Great video as the FBI file gets thicker…
10. Stop in Montreal for a show, party and taste some more scotch;
11. Fly to the Maldives with your director to shoot the NAKED video;
12. and maybe visit the troops in Afghanistan for a show on New Year’s Eve?
The video is soooo powerful! Anyone who gets pissed off is not lving in the reality of today’s world. Thank you for being a voice in the wilderness. The whole album is amazing.
I just hope people listen to you, Ev. I really do.
I admit though… I have my doubts. This comes from what I’ve learned that the general public is typically just a giant parade of denial with their fingers in their ears shouting “la-la-la” at the top of their voices. When they do decide to hear, they seem to only listen to what is the simplest message to comprehend.
In my heart and mind I can only believe that loving hope, compassion and dreams of a promising future are what will help us all overcome the worldwide epidemic of the things that leave children crying in the streets as well as families and futures broken forever…
And I am serious…I am not buying four copies of your album like some freaks do… If you want some more money from me, you gotta do more than make one album and USA-Germany limited tour once in every four years
Phew! You don’t know how close I was to being a freak! I’ve only bought two, with the plan to get one more for the kwoon. Thanks for the warning, Nadia! It’s good to know I’m not yet freak amterial.
I contacted my old grade school buddy with whom I hang out for a pint or two only a couple times a year,,,,he is a promoter up here and I asked him to see about getting Ev up here in Toronto,,,,,he told me booking agency politics prevents him from working with them…..
Maybe mtv is more inclined to show the make sure i’m dead videos when the big mouths are those with stones against guns that even have night and heat vision.
Or how big mouths are ready for the graveyard tour filled with submission.
History still teaches that armies sending their criminal elements to the frontline to be the first victims results in ultimate war cruelties on the other side that can only wish it had a same military tactic to hide.

I dont care if people hate me for this but……………………Nadia i agree with you ! You are most definitely approaching stalker status if your freaky enough to cop four albums . Watch out Ev !
I heard the song shortly before I went to Palestine and Israel. After spending some time in West Bank and Gaza Strip, seeing city of Hebron and reffuges camps, I immiediatley thought about the song - stones, intifada… It’s amazing to see that there are other people, who are felling and understanding the problem in the same way as me.
Nah, I’m much too lazy to be a stalker. Freak is another story tho.
Besides, Hench, I don’t know what they charge over there, but on this side of the pond the price is minimal. It’s not like buying a video game, or even a DVD. Show tickets are much more expensive.
WTB was gifted to me when I was having a financial dry spell, so it’s only right I gift Letters Home. Karma and all that.
it’s 23 euros per CD here… 17 tracks, no maybe, no my medicine included…
half a liter of beer in a bar or restaurant costs one euro, so everlast’s CD equals to 12,5 liters of beer in Slovakia… that’s 423 OZ. How much beer can you buy for one whitey there?
Excellent vid. The people who run armies control radio and TV stations, and their victims don’t. Everlast is the voice of the voiceless. I know that’s a rage against the machine song (Voice of the Voiceless), but if this vid is not raging against the machine, then the pope sleeps in the woods.
I’cannot overstate the sincerity of the punk band Anti-Flag in their work in this similar vein. I haven’t heard their latest (Bright lights) but the album “For Blood and Empire” came with an essay with every song. That’s right, an ESSAY! Who knew punk fans wanted to learn about depleted uranium as a weapon, World Trade, American economic exploitation, the death of US journalism (Press Corpse) and more.
I’m sure some Israelis would object to the footage of the stone throwers, which is actually a derogatory word for Palestinian.
Like someone else said, keep fighting the good fight, and keep giving right-wingers fits.
Thats my favourite song and I really love the video. Thank you for this great work!
Besides, I just realised, that your coming to Europe and immediately got tickets for your show here. Its a kind of early X-mas gift to myself! So I´m gonna see you soon in Stuttgart.
great video even if it not full of sports cars and girls half-naked keep to put your heart in your music. Me that what i try to do http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8z6Cdll2Rpw
